IDF drops over 80 explosives on Tehran weapon production sites in latest strike

According to the IDF, over 80 munitions were dropped on weapon production, research, and development sites responsible for creating weapons used to attack Israel.

The IDF struck approximately 40 weapon production sites across Tehran over the previous two days, the military announced on Monday.

According to the military's statement, over 80 munitions were dropped onweapon production, research, and development sites responsible for creating weapons used to attack Israel.

Among the sites targeted were facilities that assembled and manufactured long-range surface-to-air missiles, components for anti-tank and small anti-aircraft missiles, and ballistic missile engines.

IDF strikes Iran Defense Ministry site

The Israel Air Force also struck Iranian weapon manufacturing sites in Tehran overnight between Saturday and Sunday, the IDF said on Sunday.

Targets of the strike included a central site used by Iran's Defense Ministry to manufacture "critical" components for ballistic missiles, one of only two such sites in Iran, said the IDF.

Additional targets included various weapon production and storage facilities, as well as a drone engine production facility and an air defense development facility.

Power outages reported in Tehran

On Sunday, power outages were reported in Tehran and Karaj after an attack targeted a high-voltage tower in Alborz province.

Damage to the tower was reportedly caused by shrapnel that struck the facility, and authorities were working to restore power in the affected areas.
